Product Introduction
Silicon-carbon alloy, also known as high-carbon silicon SI-C, is a new type of alloy used in converter steelmaking processes. It can replace silicon iron, carbide, and carbon-increasing agents, reduce the amount of deoxidizers used, and is beneficial in the deoxidation and alloying process of converter steelmaking. The results are stable, with the chemical composition, mechanical properties, and internal control quality of the steel grades being superior to those of traditional processes. Its characteristics include improving the quality of the steel bath, enhancing product quality, ameliorating product performance, reducing the amount of alloy added, lowering the cost of steelmaking, and increasing economic benefits. As a new type of alloy, there are not many manufacturers currently producing high-carbon silicon. The main production areas are in Anyang, Henan province.
